"The other swappers got back to us. We will make our place available to you Labor Day weekend from Thurs Aug 30 to Monday so you can have that extra day. I hope you have a wonderful time. We will return on Monday evening Sept 3. Here are lots of boring details just so I am sure we are on the same page.
Our cleaner comes on Monday evening, so all we ask you to do is strip the beds. Do you think you will have time to wash the linens before you go? It is not necessary to remake the beds or to collapse the AeroBeds.
The only thing we ask about your flight is that you two pick up the keys directly from us before we leave that evening. We had a less successful swap where the exchangers had friends staying here with them. They had their friends come to get the keys and the friends said the exchangers decided not to arrive until after their friends had been here for two days! I know you are experienced swappers and wouldn't do that, but just thought I'd let you know about our other experience.
Do you employ a cleaner at your home, or could we hire one you recommend? It is sometimes difficult these days for us to juggle our two small children and get out of home exchange houses as early as we like, but still leave them as clean as
we insist on doing.
We are ready to book our own tickets. The best deal we found was on Continental to Newark, which is the most convenient airport for our home.
We are actually going to fly in to Miami, spend 3 night there to see my cousins, then go to your place on November 26 as we discussed. Dad and step-mom might join us for two nights at your place as I had mentioned.
We will fly out on December 2, which I believe was the date you suggested. None of your adult children is a smoker or allergic to cats, I hope? One of our cats is a hypoallergenic breed and doesn't shed, but the other is a normal Domestic Short-hair.
