Here's the thanks I get for turning my kids' godparents on to home exchange: they're in my apartment this week so their non-simultaneous home exchange partners can use their place during this peak travel time. Later this year my friends will use the swappers' huge house in Washington, DC. My friends are using my second home and it's letting them swap as if they own multiple residences.
You may only have one home but with a little help from your friends you can swap as if you own several!
